Since Laja steel stack completed successfully end of last year, Chinehwa and Andritz OY have signed the new contract about the steel stacks for MdP project on June 22, 2011. The project is located in Punta Pereira Free Trade Zone, Uruguay. According to the contract, material purchasing, workshop fabrication and delivering to Shanghai Port were included in Chinehwa's scope.

There are totally three stacks in this project, one for recovery boiler, one for power boiler, and the other for white liquor plant. The max. height is about 120m. The total weight for three stacks is about 600 metric tons. According to the contract and whole schedule in jobsite, the stacks will be delivered completely by end of Jan. 2012.
